Any car that fits within the rules of each respective class is welcome to race providing the driver has paid the $100.00 membership fee. If the car is owned by someone else, then owner and driver must have current memberships. -
All races will be run on a .400 Pro Tree, Courtesy staging will be in effect. All cars must stage on their own power. Deep staging is not allowed. -
You will be required to go to the scales BEFORE your elimination run. Do not pass the scales as this could lead to disqualification. -
Rules of the appropriate sanctioning body will be in effectNHRA and IHRA depending on the host track. -
Safety rules of the Host track will be in effect. -
Rule violation challenges. If you want to challenge a car there will be a $50.00 contest fee, if the car you are challenging is found to be in violation then the fee will be refunded if the car is within the rules then the fee will be forfeited. -
Rules published on the TTT5 website are the official rules and are subject to revisions at the discretion of the TTT5 committee. Any revisions will be posted on the TTT5 web site within 3 days of any rule revisions. -
All drivers, pit crew and family members will be expected to act in a professional manner. It is the drivers responsibility to ensure that all pit crew members as well as family members adhere to this rule, any violation will result in disqualification and loss of entry fees, if deemed serious enough or it becomes a problem at later races it is up to the discretion of the Committee to ban the individual from future races. -
Rules are subject to change. -
A racer may only be an entrant in one class at any given race. -
Any rule interpretation is left up to the discretion of the committee. -
Under no circumstances are you to pull to the line without proper safety gear in place. This means EVERYTHING. Gloves, Helmet, jacket, pants, harnesses, etc. This is for your own safety. -
No infared "cheating" devices are allowed on ANY car running in TTT5. This means ANYTHING that hangs from the front of the car in front of the tirs, below the front of the car in front of the tires - or any thing that can trip the beams at the end of the track before the tires can.
