June 20th had some good, close racing!
Charles Riggins looked like he was set to take home the prize in Extreme running a high .20 in qualifying and a couple more racers hitting the mid .30 mark. But Charles got treed in the 2nd round of elimination which took him out of the hunt. David "Unc" Geers car, driven by Michael Hollis, was running consistent mid .30's and won a hole shot victory over Duane Thomas in the 2nd round of eliminations. Unc's car went 5.35 with a .044 reaction time to Duanes 5.33 with a .081 reaction time. Unc's car went on to the finals against ever consistent Chad Smallwood from Round Rock Texas. Chad went 5.38 with a red lite to Unc's 5.37 with Unc and driver Michael Hollis taking home the win.
In True Street it again was the blue Nova owned by Roy Spencer with Mark Vanderllies doing the driving. Roy's car ran consistent 5.50's all night with a class best of 5.53 in the finals against Derek Lewis. Dereks car did a near half track, bumper dragging wheel stand that probably kept him from posibbly winning the race
Get ready for Ennis Saturday June 28th and Sunday the 29th!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
