| Just want to see how many of you guys think the race was called off a little soon? I guess I figured they would have waited a little longer as it looked to be clearing up. |

| It was called because their was no spectators, they didn't want to have to pull all that money out of there own pockets, and it was an easy called due to the rain!! Can't say I blame them? They need to due a better job of advertising!! |

| Thats what we were thinking also, due to the poor turnout it would be better refund than payout. I don't blame them either. I had a good time it's just a shame very few others came out race or spectate. I agree 100% on the advertising statement as we didn't know about the event until just a couple of weeks ago and that was only because of this web page. |

4.00 for a GALLON of gas, 100 degrees plus it's humid, no shade trees within 5 miles of that place, and if you are a spectator you can't even bring so much as a bottle of water in with you, no advertising, running the same weekend (even though it was on Friday) as another Outlaw race. It was doomed from the word go!!! Heck, I could have taken my car, I just didn't want to go because it was flat out too dang hot! I can't wait to see if 1320X will be about the same. I was going to go to that too, but I doubt I will. Especially since the drag radial class is 1/4 mile anyway. |

| Update fellows: The Motorplex says they will re-schedule the eliminations for this event. We will go by the already established ladder. Only the ones there this weekend that got put on the ladder will race. They will hold it one night, DATE TO BE ANNOUNCED. |

Wow, sorry to hear about the low car and spectator count. I can't understand why promoters DON'T promote through better means of advertising and also try to have a 2 day race in the middle of the summer heat in Texas. Don't get me wrong, I love to race and enjoy it anytime given the opportunity, but why can't spring and fall be used for events like this where folks wouldn't mind the weather as much. I've been at Ennis when it's plenty hot in September and October, but there is a better chance for cooler weather other times of the year. Look when PINKS ALL OUT was here in October '06, not sure about the ADRL race, but free tickets was a boost for attendance there (I wasn't there so I assume attendance was good) and Fun Ford Weekend, all at other times of the year. Super Chevy used to be April or May and had a better turnout, why not make it early again. Gas prices are a big factor too, but most gearheads will drop the extra money for entertainment...if they know about it. Just my 2 pennies. At least I'm a little less disappointed I didn't get to make this race after hearing what happened. My oldest did runner up in her jr. dragster Saturday so I'm happy |

| I think 1320X is going to go down like a spent bottle rocket. |

I think we have a couple of very dominant cars in our classes, but we just keep plugging away trying to make our cars faster. We don't complain about them being faster than the rest of the field. I guess in the end ,in T/S, we all want to be as fast as Roy, Derek, John and Mike . And now I think we can put the Trans Am, in that group as well. But we just keep on trying to get there. That's what makes us racers. |

| I think in the future we won't be going anywhere other than Kennedale or Denton. I understand why they did what they did but that was alot of wasted time and money. |
