Man, 1st pass out of the box with the new nitrous controller worked great!. 1.34 60 ft. 5.80 flat. Not bad for first pass on an unprepped track. The track just got continually worse after that though, wouldn't even hook on the motor. But I was definitely happy with the first pass. |

Cool David! Glad to hear the success. Too bad the track went away. How many cars were out there? |

Can't wait to hit it on a prepped track. Hopefully in March we are gonna rent Denton for a day! |

| Feels good to spend a little money and get great results. You should put together a deal and split up the cost of the track rental. No way my T/S car is going to be done but I should have the engine back in the Duster and I would be up for a Test and Tune. Get 5 or six cars and the cost would not be too bad. |

Did you have your car there? I figured with it being cooler and the Cowboys game would keep a bunch away. How did the car count compare to last Sunday, half or less? |

Hmmm, might be fun for several of us to get together like that. Maybe I could "steal" a few speed secrets from the rest of you guys |

I had the nitrous set at 250 h.p. brought it in at 3/10 out, at 20%. Then ramped it in over 2 seconds to 100%. Sure wish the track would have been prepped. I feel pretty certain we could have got at least a mid .60 out of it. Maybe lower. Plus I can still add another 150 h.p. on the system. |

I got a lot more gear than I need in the car it only went 117.92. The motor is a 415 4.125 bore and 3.875 stroke. Think I may drop back to a 3.89 gear, I think I can put a little more juice out of the hole with that gear too. It's got a 4.57 in it now. |

| The car was not slipping the tires very much at all to run a 5.80 at near 118. On a cold unpreped track I would say the radials work pretty good. |

Back when my car was running good, I had a 4.88 gear in it, and if I tried to launch with more than around 80 horse shot, it would just blow the tires off. I switched to a 4.10 gear and I could launch with about 100-125 on a good track, but that's with the ET Street tires, any everybody knows you can easily over power them. I always wanted to drop my gear to 3.73 and see what that would do, but other things went wrong before I could address the gear issue. |

| I amost forgot, that was shifting the car at 6800 rpm also. This motor should make good power to 7600. So, I gotta play with the shift points too. |

There are alot better progressives out there than the old school dial units from NOS or Edelbrock.
But I agree with the original statement...progressive rock |
