we are getting my buddies gremlin ready for true street.. My question is why is the frt motor plat enot allowed? hell we have the alt. there so we can dive it on the street.. just askin gso we can finish it.

Once again it's that "to maintain stock appearance" rule...even if a different mfg. powerplant is used. A midplate is ok, but not a front.

BTW, what combo is this Gremlin going to have? Is it the Gremlin that was at one of the Denton races?

How about we paint it black so it blends in with the under hood...Hell let just paint it rust color and than it will look stock apearing,,,,,

You know i was thinking if there is a stock apearing look than why did cedric allow laddrer bars and coil overs?????????

but well i guess will have to put this car in e/z were it will not be competitive.....Because it has radials and a sbc....

You know a mid plate is not stock apearing niether....

You know, you could just take the motor plate off and weld up two lengths of steel tubing and put a flat plate on them and I think that would be called a front motor mount! Like on a 55-57 Chevy
