Maybe I'm looking forward to next year already. Sounds like there will be several new cars in TS. BTW, Merry Christmas to you, Kathy and the girls. |

Thanks Mike, and MERRY CHRISTMAS to you, Glad to hear you'll be back. I hope to do alittle better this coming year, I broke my stock block and I am building me a new short block. Did you tear yours up very bad or just the pistons? |

I think i'll stick with TRUE STREET until I atleast win a race. I found some things wrong here and there I think will make a difference. Nothing in the motor department, Hans built a strong motor, more in the converter and suspension area. |

Is there room for a big block car to do something in TS this year? When's the last time a big block won in this class - ever? I'm surely looking forward to giving it a shot this year... Maybe I can put somebody on the trailer. Jim (hoping to paint someday soon) B. |

| If I have anything to say about it, it will remain a small block dominated class! |

From what I am told, the MT radial is going to be more power friendly. So if that proves to be the case then I think the BB's will start to rise to the top. The last BB to win a TS race was I believe Tommy Thormeyer at the Abilene race 3 years ago in his 68 Camaro that he has since sold. The 1st 2 or 3 years it was about half and half and then the small blocks started to win them all for the last 3 years. |

All I'm gonna say is with the tiny amount of testing I have done with my new motor, I think we are gonna see a lot of faster times this year. Even from the small blocks!!!! I have only done motor testing so far, and I am extremely happy with what it has run, and what it still has in it! Hey John, get to feelin better!!!! |

| T Stripes what did your car run on motor? How much improvement do you think you will see on spray? Did Tommy Phillips build the new bullit? |

Yep, it's a Phillips special! I don't wanna say exactly what it went, but it went faster than any pass last year with the 580 horse motor with a 250 shot. And it sputters a little bit in high gear, so I think I can gain another tenth or two. The motor has a 114 degree lobe centerline, so it should hit really hard on nitrous. Last year it picked up 6 to 7 tenths on the squeeze. So, if this motor will do the same, I'll definitely have to do some playing with the box to hook it! |

Ah, come on now, what did it run on motor? My guess is a 6.50 somethin. |

Come on, we need to liven up this board a little. After all, it's bench racin season, isn't it? Besides, motor passes can be misleading when you have a nitrous motor. It won't change the outcome of any races anyway, post up! |
