would a sheet metal Elbow for efi on a traditional cast(super vic efi) intake still be considered a sheet metal intake?

You can run a sheet metal elbow on a cast intake. Just no sheet metal intakes.

Josh is correct - but no "major" modifications to a cast intake are allowed - I.e. External welding for port reconfiguration.
