Posted By austin racing on 08/12/2007 8:48 AM yes the distributor is locked out i set it at 38 on motor and tried 32 for nitrous. ima runing 112 fuel the blue or green gas. i have number 9 ngk plugs in it. the way i checked the fuel pressure is by takin off the carb put the plat in a bucket and hit the switch and spray it threw the plate. and i hade it set at around 6 1\2 to 7 pounds of fuel pressure
There's your problem. You flow an NOS cheater system thru the fuel jet BEFORE the solenoid, not thru the solenoid and the plate. You will need a flow tool to do this properly. Unscrew the fuel line from the solenoid. Make a flow tool that screws on the end of the fuel line with the fuel jet in the end. Then set your desired flowing pressure. Put it back together and go race. |
