I see in the rules it states LS1 powered vehicles, in order to compete, they have to run stock castings. Further down in the rules it says any mass produced head for all vehicles maintaining the stock valve angle. I have a motor going together that will be using a set of Dart Pro 1 LS1 heads. These are stock valve angle, will I be legal for True Street and if not, why? The only difference is a thicker deck for better clamping. They still maintain the stock bolt holes etc. If not, is this rule open for debate. I understand not letting in the C5R or LS7 heads or even the Trick Flow stuff simply because they are not the stock valve configuration on the LS1 based engine. Please advise and discuss. Mike |

Mike, we will look at it for consideration. Thank you for your interest in the class and your input. We may need someone like you to help research the different heads, pros and cons, and help us out at the end of the season. Unc |

| Not a problem David. I'm trying to decide to see what class I want to run but head rules are what is holding me back right now. |

| Yeah David, i have a similar question to Oneslowbird. My question is sinsce my car was originally equiped with the LS1, can i still run True Street with a LS7 block? It does not have LS7 heads. They are L92 heads. Is there a displacement limit? Mine is 440cid but it is based on an LSx platform. No custom stuff, just over the counter parts. |

I'm glad to see this question asked, I'll be watching for the answer. I'm also looking at going into the True Street class, and was also unclear about the heads. I currently have a set of 5.3 heads on the car,,
Thanks in Advance, Phil |
