I want everyone to be aware that the site requires TONS of changes on a nearly daily basis. From a volunteer's standpoint this is nearly impossible - especially during racing season. Keeping this in mind, there will be rules that are discussed in the forums, on the phone, at the track etc - that just don't get put up the instance they are created. PLEASE BE PATIENT! These things take time. For those of you who have raced with us for a while - you know what is and isn't legal. For those of you who haven't - just ask. Also, any rules that are in question are to be interpreted BY TTT5. EDIT- 4/23/2007 After this last race a few things were brought to the attention of TTT5. ALL CLASSES - Under no circumstances are you to pull to the line without proper safety gear in place. This means EVERYTHING. Gloves, Helmet, jacket, pants, harnesses, etc. This is for your own safety. FAILURE TO DO THIS WILL RESULT IN DISQUALIFICATION AND A COMPETITION BYE RUN FOR YOUR COMPETITOR. ALL CLASSES - No infared "cheating" devices are allowed on ANY car running in TTT5. This means ANYTHING that hangs from the front of the car in front of the tirs, below the front of the car in front of the tires - or any thing that can trip the beams at the end of the track before the tires can. E/S - Rules "re-changed" for proper wording. See "RULES" link on sidebar. IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS IN REGARDS TO THE RULE CHANGES YOU NEED TO CONTACT TTT5. (NOT ME) IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS PLEASE CONTACT TTT5 BEFORE YOU MAKE CHANGES, TO ENSURE IT IS "LEGAL". |

Know this is just a question .But dosn't nhra allow a beam breaking device to hang from the nose of the car. Also cheating means you have broke a rule .So if it wasn't a rule its not cheating .just asking |

NHRA allows a lot of things that heads-up class racing doesn't allow. For instance, NHRA allows slicks in every NHRA class. TTT5 does not allow slicks in True Street. You are right, if it isn't a rule it isn't cheating. But when it does become a rule..........you get the idea. |

Yeah when it becomes a rule you just have to try and bend it At least this was changed after race 1 and not 3 events into it. |
