i run the stiffs with and without tubes. on my car there is no difference in et or mph either way. but the tires don't go flat with the tubes.

Thanks, I see that most of the cars in this class are also just putting screws in their wheels instead of running beadlocks. I'm sure cost has alot to do with that. Thanks again for the input. I have been watching you guys run for sometime now and all of the cars in this class are very impressive.

Made three races with the soft and tubes and 60 better than it ever has at 1.251. Ran stiff side wall and ran slower at 1.312 60 ft. Soft side wall with out tubes ran consistant 1.26's. I know all cars are different, but we run better with a soft side wall and no tubes. Get a scale and check the weight difference between soft and stiff and see how much differnce there is.

We perform better with the before mentioned combo. Everyone has different opinions and cars work differently. We just hook better with the soft /no tubes. They sure do leak down quickly. Used a bottle of dish soap last time and they still leak pretty quickly. We swap side between races and clean with B-12 to remove oils and junk off the tire. Never had a problem with them not hooking yet.
