I know the F1 is the largest that can be used. Does that mean I can use a Vortech V27 YSI trim (same cfm)? Also, can it be reverse mounted?

I think the turbo/forced induction folks are starting their own class up here. I don't know who is ram rodding it. But check out dfwstangs. There was talk about it on there at one point.

I'm interested more in the real street class. I haven't been racing for 7 years and a class that has a bbc Nova running a 5.4 is far more interesting than racing nothing but mustangs. The ysi is an nmra legal renegade blower as is the f1. I have used vortechs for years and I am comfortable with their build quality. If you consider the compressor map, eng size and heads, I don't think that I can hit a 5.4 with it but,a 5.6 to 5.8 seems like a realistic number.

I agree. 5.4 on such a small tire say's a lot. If I'm allowed to use the Ysi my car will be finished sooner. I already sold my Kaase canted valve heads and purchased a set of 7709's. Multi brand racing is always better than one make. I have been to Super Chevy events and NMRA races that were all great but lacking diversity. I have raced Ford stuff for years but I haven't given up on the idea of using something else. I have a good deal on the Ysi if its allowed. If not, I will have to wait a little longer for the F1. I'm a single father of three and I just started a side buiness for nights and weekends that used up some of my money for new equipment. "Auto AC mobile vehicle ac repair and diagnostics" if any one can call or text my cell number is 469 878 4072 Thanks.
