Chad, this is the time of year the committee reviews all the rules in both class. At this time, it is just that, a review. Our goal is to keep parity as best we can in both classes. Parity can only be accomplished in a heads-up class through rules. Obviously we don't use an index or dial-in to make it even so to speak. Therefore, sometimes, that requires hard decisions to keep a measure of parity. However, I can tell you this, we do not have any plans at this time to change the turbo rules. That doesn't mean changes will not be made in some areas, but at this time we do not have plans to change anything. We still have 3 more races.

I still plan on making a few more races this year with my current small block combo but I'm trying to make plans for next year. If the rules for the turbo are going to stay the same I'm going to build a BBC (540) with an 88mm (106mm clipped to 88mm) @ 3350 this should make a little more power than the old small block.

Our turbo and procharger rules have always and only applied to small blocks. I'm not sure what happened or how/when it got left off, but we have never allowed big blocks to run with forced induction and at one time it was stated in the rules. We will get it back in there.
