| My tall deck has B1 heads on it and they will not let it run T/S. |

I LOVE SMALL-BLOCKS, I think we have more small-block chevys runnig in T/S than we do big-blocks, stock or after-market blocks. |

I thought after-market blocks were illegal for the T/S class. If not then I have a Dart big-m tall deck motor that can make 1500hp with the right cam and no n2o. Whats up with that?(after-market block)
John, I to once was a small block lover, I had a bracket small block car that ran in the 5.30s range with a $20,000 R-M 427 sb motor in it. Then I was introduced to the dark side (a big block)! My OEM tall deck block will make almost as much hp power as my R-M motor made with 150 ft. lbs more tq. and can take a lot more power then any stock small block can and my big-m block motor. Well Lets not go there.
You see, I think it's time the big blocks take over. Some of use (as you might think)new guy's aren't as new to this sport as you think. And some of us old guy's have a few tricks even for the T/S class that has only been around for a few years. I am stepping down in e/t and speed just to come play for a while and win money. My new car is built just for this class. You might say it is purpous biult and will run fast.
After 20 yrs. of messing with SB blocks I thought it was time to try something differant. I should have gone to the big blocks a long time ago!!!!!!!!!!!! |

TS rule 5. No aftermarket big block Chevy tall deck, or aftermarket big block Fords allowed. Small blocks are ok. "I am stepping down in e/t and speed just to come play for a while and WIN MONEY." Better discuss that with a few others, they may have something to say about it! |

I can tell you this I have a big block in my car and yeah I can run fast and be one of the top cars but it has taken me 4 years to figure it out. Im not tring to say you won't win of run fast, but its not that easy to run fast every pass on these tires with a big block or even a small block. We have people every year that get on here and say they have been racing four how every long and that they will win. But, like I said im not saying you can't and won't win of run fast. It will take a lot of time and a lot of money to run fast in T/S even if it is called a starter class.

Well, We'll see soon. It isn't my first 10.5 car. I ran out on the west coast for severel years before moving to Tx. 5 years ago and what I've seen sence moving here is nothing new. Not trying to start anything but it's time to change the gaurd. New blood in the class. After watching for a couple of years I thought you Texas guy's might need a challange. Let use Cali boys show you how it's done!!! And there is three of us form Cal. building cars just for this class right now. |

novaman, I'm sure your smart and all, I mean if you think i'm some punk kid thats never raced before, well you have a lot to learn, I say come on with any Big Block combo you got and I hope you can back it up, all three of you cali boys. I'm have been racing on 10.5 tires or smaller for the last 20 years, you see i'm not that young, and i've been as fast as you and probably faster,( how many Wally's you have on your trophy shelf?) you know anyone can go straight down the track in a chassis car that is set up for it and is light. I see your Big Block and raise you with my Small Block. It's going to get crowded at the top this year?? |

It was a figure of speech, no and no one said you did? Like was said, before, get the cars together and lets go racing, being you have it all figured out. And yes, I too have a purpose built car as do all the rest of the (guys) in T/S. |

As long as you don't think I called you a punk. I don't think any body in this class or any other class is for that mater. Well maybe 1 or 2. you know what I mean. And no I don't have all figured out but it won't take long I promise. Hell my car won't be ready for a least 4-5 months. Motor is built and dynoed, ready to run. Don't take it so personal. I like you also had small blocks and now I don't. I know how it feels to get pick on. |

| It didn't hurt any body parts just the headers, oil pan, motor mounts, and the drag radials. Thanks for the offer though. |
