Gates to open at 9:00 AM, I hope to be running qualifying by 10:00-10:30
Some of you may be familiar with the DFWStangs Fall and Spring Cruise that I've hosted for the past several years.. I've been wanting to add something to the agenda for a while now, so here's your chance.
I've elected for it to be T/S and loosely follow TTT5 rules, to alleviate any confusion and complaining.
It will be a winner takes all "outlaw" race. You don't have to be a member of either site, but you do have to abide by the rules.
The ONLY major rule is the tire. 275/60/15 M/T drag radial. There will be no weigh in, so if you want to take the weight out - go for it. Got a 2nd kit? No problem. Wanna take that sleeve out? Go for it.
(if you guys vote for a change, we'll change it)
So, by "loosely" following the rules I mean -
No backhalf cars with some swapped over drag radials.
No lexan windows
It must at least resemble a street car....
I'll rely on the eyes of a few of of the TTT5 people who will be there to make a judgement on any car that is in the "grey area".
It will be a 80/20 split on the payout - The entry fee will be whatever the racers vote on with a MINIMUM of 50$ entry (I'd like to see 100$ personally, but that is up to you guys).
**If the racers VOTE on a change, and the majority wins - then so be it. |
