Here goes:
Same concept, but a couple of tweaks. Main event wil stay exactly the same, the only difference will be that we will have a track official that will be staged at the finish line and any car that lifts before traps to try an manipulate ets and mph will be disqualified. The winner of this race will receive $2500.
The undercard will be the same format, but will be designed for cars running 6.49 and slower. This will insure that some of the folks that have not been able to participate will have a better shot at getting in on the action. Same rules will apply.
Finally, I am in the process of getting details from our attorney, but I plan to up the stakes this time and take applications for two cars to run for their rides. Best 2 out of 3, winner walks away with both cars. Ideally, would like this to be completely heads-up, but we will negotiate for headstarts if needed. Hopefully I will have more info on this part of the program by the end of the week. If you are willing to be a part of our "Race For Your Ride", please e-mail me at nicduty@aol.com. In the e-mail, plese include all pertinent information on your car (model, engine size, power adders, etc.). Once we pick two cars, both drivers will need to accept the race before anything is finalized.
