Ok everyone it is time to get serious about the new year. We have set up a couple of dates to get your memberships and cars all teched in before the first race. We will be teching everything EXCEPT weight. So, BRING THE TOOLS needed to make your engine accessible for the tech guys to pump a cylinder of your engine.. It will be your responsibility to get your engine ready and put it back together after it is tested. If you are not sure what you will need to take apart, call one of the committee members. (1) THE TECH SESSION AT MESQUITE ISD HAS BEEN CANCELLED. We will attempt to tech every car at the TNT day listed below. The lines will be long, we'll be busy, so be patient. In order to get your car teched, come to the TTT5 table and sign up. You will be teched in the order recieved. The earlier you arrive, the better. (EDITED BY TURBOSTANG) 2. March 30 1 pm till we are done Texas Raceway Kennedale See you there, Donna |

I am in the process of building my car to the 10.5 true street specs according to the rules on this website. Are there any more rules that apply or that have not beed update here? Also, my car will not be ready until around June 2008. Can I still get a member ship and tech inspection that late in the season so I can compete at the end of the year? I cannot varify that at this time because some members of our committee are out of town until saturday. I would guess that we will have to set up another one pryor to race day because we will not have time to tech everything on a race day. If I hear from them for any type of confirmation, I will post it immediately. Donna |

| Oh, I'll be there weather permitting. But this is Texas, and I have yet to see a weather forecast that is accurate. That's why I said "IF" it rains. |

Teching at the first race april 18 is not guaranteed. It will all depend on how many cars are there that need to be teched and what time you get there. You know we have a curview at TXR and that cuts our time dramatically for anything other than racing. That is the purpose of a pre-tech and membership day...

1. Tech begins at 1pm. 2. What time do the gates open? 3. Will it cost us to get in if we are NOT racing? 5. Can you tech it inside a trailer? I'm not done with my car yet but I hope to be there. Thanks. |

| I would assume that everything will be run by TXR rules for Sunday racing. Their web site says gates open at 2. We will be set up and ready by 1 if at all possible. There is a $10 fee to watch on sundays, it is up to the track whether or not they will charge you to come in. But, I wouldn't expect no freebies if I was you... |

| by the way, part of tech is pumping a cylinder on your motor, so I doubt it can be done inside a trailer.. |

I figured no freebies. How about teching inside my trailer as there are a few things to do to get it running and driveable? |

| There isn't enough room inside a trailer for tech. Our guys are not little skinny people. Besides, if you can get it in a trailer to get to the track, why can't you push it outside for tech and use the winch to put it back in. If you don't have a winch, I am sure there will be enough folks that would help push it back inside... |
