| After the new weight changes it’s a joke to try to race a turbo car in this organization. I have been with TTT5 since the beginning and now the weight is way out of hand. Instead of adding weight to all cars let’s take weight out of the class and make it safer for all the cars. There is only one Turbo car that has been a factor in the last couple of years, and he did not dominate the class. It’s not about the potential it’s about the facts. |

Remember about 3 or 4 years ago when Tom Malouf had a 347 and a single 88? It went 5.19 4 years ago. I think the car was in Extreme then. It can be done, but nobody tries anymore. Everybody just gripes. If I had the cash to build a turbo car, I'd try it. They are just too expensive to build. I do agree though that you will never make enough power to be competitive in T/S witha .76 and an air to air. |

It was a 91, and it ran those times at the end of the season. I think it ran consistent .30's during the rest of the season maybe.

There has been quite a few .20's in the past, but I don't think in the teens.. Riggins, Chip, and I think Green all ran in the .20's .. .maybe even the fairmont..
I know the black and silver mustang ran damn close at the last race too..
..but keep in mind, now the turbo cars are limited to an 88MM, but they get air/water intercoolers. Maybe a good tradeoff. |

To be honest with you I think if your building from the ground up your not talking that much difference in money, by the time you by 6 bottles, better bottle valves, controller, pistons, headgaskets, etc, etc. A 76 will not make enough power with an Air to Water either. |

| I dis-agree, I think a 76 can be competetive this year, what makes you think 800-850 HP to the wheels cant be competetive, what did your car make to the ground David? |

I dis agree with you on this, I think you are under estimating the new tire, on the Et streets a 76 had a chance. Everybody I talk to says I dont have a chance in hell, the general concensus is I will need atleast an 82mm. BUT the powers to be say to show up and run I will, I just hope that it will get looked at later and upped. |

I may be wrong but I think I remember the WTS went 140 MPH at one of our races in Extreme Street in 2007. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong. But if he can make that kind of MPH at 3300 lbs he can surely make 139 MPH 50 lbs heavier. With that kind of MPH 20's is definitely doable. I don't know, I'm not a turbo guy, but if I can make 140 MPH then all I gotta do is work on my short time and I would own this Extreme Street class. The best MPH I witnessed from an Extreme Street nitrous car in 2007 was 136 MPH. Heck, my car weighs 3450 lbs with my 140 lb driver in it and it weighs close to 3600 lbs with me in it and I have gone several 5.3x passes with me driving in test runs. I think if WTS comes and plays with the weight he has to be at, and some more tuning, he will be hard to beat. Scott, AKA WTS, has a nice car and I think he will be a front runner and be hard to beat with some more tuning. JMHO. Unc |

I don't know. I only dyno'd it when it had a severe tuning problem. I haven't dyno'd it since it's been competitive. |
