Dallas Raceway June 6th was a big hit!
We had 26 cars enter and had some real good side-by-side racing. In True Street we had 12 cars and we ran all 12 with Duane Thomas as the #1 Q with a 5.61 however he had some issues and got took out in eliminations. In the semi finals it was a father in law, son in law match up. Derek Lewis against John Mathis with Mathis winning. The final match was between John Mathis and Miguel Varela with John taking the win. Miguel stood his up high and had to lift long enough for John to get out front. The finals in Extreme was all Austin. Randy David was the #1 Q with a 5.23. Randy ran 2 back to back 5.18 passes in Eliminations and ended up against Chad "redneck" Smallwood. Both cars spun hard out of the hole but Chad gathered it up and took the win. Congrats to both winners and thanks to the out of towners that made the haul. The track management was very happy with our show of side by side racing and they definitely want us back.
