True Street Race July 17th
We had 12 cars enter True Street. 1st round was delayed to 8:30 PM because of the heat. Once the action started and the ladder was in place, some close matches were to follow. Several races were decided at the tree Friday night. Clifton Hicks, co-owner of "Pumpkinhead", was an early favorite after qualifying and made it down to 3 cars only to lose on a hole shot to Mike Graham. This set up another good final against Roy Spencer's Blue Nova driven by Michael Hollis and Andy Parks Blue Camaro driven by Mike Graham. This one was decided at the tree also with Graham having the faster ET of 5.61 against Hollis 5.64. The margin of victory was .0002. What a race!
